About The Role
We're looking for a confident and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our HR function, keeping processes on track, supporting managers and employees alike, and ensuring everything we do is delivered to the highest standard of professionalism and compliance.
This is a varied and rewarding position for someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes real pride in their work, and understands the importance of confidentiality in an HR setting.
We work within a regulated children's services environment, so a commitment to safeguarding and sector-specific compliance is essential to this role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Note-taking during meetings and tracking agreed actions through to completion
- Issuing official HR correspondence, employment offers, meeting outcomes and external references
- Generating data reports for payroll, absence monitoring and other regular HR processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records with the correct access and location assignments
- Supporting the employee appraisal process by coordinating 360 feedback
- Managing the administration of employee benefits
- Serving as the main point of contact for new starters, overseeing Safer Recruitment onboarding
- Monitoring the onboarding tracker and addressing or escalating any concerns promptly
- Providing general administrative support including calls, ad-hoc tasks and occasional reception cover
- Ensuring full compliance with Data Protection and Employment legislation at all times
What We're Looking For
- Strong communicator, comfortable building relationships at all levels across a diverse workforce
- Exceptionally organised, with a track record of managing varied and competing priorities accurately and at pace
- Proven experience in a similar HR or high-stakes administration role
- A proactive and resourceful approach, with a genuine drive to find solutions and make things work
- Demonstrates complete discretion and respect for confidentiality as a matter of course
- Committed to compliance with Data Protection, Safer Recruitment, employment law and relevant sector legislation (including Keeping Children Safe in Education and Children's Homes Regulations)
